Training Academy · 2027 Filing Season
Training that gets your office ready to operate.
The R&A Pro-Tax Training Academy covers the working relationship between your office and R&A: software orientation, onboarding, office readiness, bank-enrollment guidance, R&A procedures, support procedures, and security awareness. Every item below is labelled so you know exactly what is available today.
What R&A trains you on
Training areas and their status
Delivered by R&A to enrolled offices as part of onboarding.
How to reach, sign in to, and navigate your authorized tax-software access, and who to contact when something is wrong.
How your office record is built with R&A: ownership, locations, preparers, credentials, and readiness checks.
The steps an office completes before the filing season opens, tracked against your onboarding checklist.
How R&A works with your office: request handling, escalation, documentation, and what R&A does versus what your office owns.
How to open a case, what information to include, response expectations, and how cases are escalated.
R&A operational awareness training. This is not tax-law instruction and not continuing education credit.
Handling taxpayer data inside R&A systems: access, sharing, device basics, phishing, and incident reporting.
How R&A assists your bank-enrollment application, what documents are needed, and how status is tracked. The bank makes the approval decision.
EFIN and PTIN reminders tied to your office record. Credentials are obtained by your office directly from the IRS.
Applies where the capability has been separately activated for your office.
Pipelines, statuses, communications, and portal workflows — provided where CRM & Office Operations is activated for your office.
Taxpayer mobile-app walkthrough where mobile-app access is separately activated.
Being built or under internal review. Not represented as available today.
Assignment and completion tracking against your office record inside the R&A Client Portal.
Additional recorded orientation and workflow walkthroughs.
R&A does not currently offer IRS continuing education credit and is not an accrediting body. Any future CE offering will be published only when it is real.
Structured internal completion paths for owners, preparers, and administrators.
Who provides what
R&A training versus third-party training
R&A is your service bureau. R&A is not the IRS, not a bank, not a tax-software publisher, and not an accrediting body.
Operational training about R&A systems, R&A procedures, onboarding, support, and the software access R&A delivers to your office.
Product documentation, release notes, and platform-run training are published by the software platform under its own terms. R&A does not reproduce them.
IRS publications, e-file rules, PTIN and EFIN requirements, and continuing education come from the IRS. R&A is not the IRS and does not speak for it.
Bank-product terms, disclosures, and training come from the bank under its own agreement. Approval decisions are the bank's.
R&A is not an accrediting body and does not issue IRS CE credit. CE must be obtained from an IRS-approved provider.
